Truck owners, Ford, Chevy or Dodge?

I'm looking to get a truck within the next year or two. It doesn't need to be brand new, and I'm not using it for major hauling, but for full bed use and possibly a cart extension of some sort.

which is the best truck out there for regular civilian transportation, nothing commercial related?
