Explorer blew radiator hose soaks engine. Now o/d light is on and transmission shifts wrong?

My 2003 ford explorer xlt automatic 4lt 4dr 4x4 blew a radiator hose anddoing 70 mph and soaked my whole truck. After i fixed it my o/d light is on and it wont shift right. Tranny shop says it is bad. Could something have gotten soaked and needs dried out? If so what?
