How to drive a stick shift (help if you know anything)?

My dad has a Ford F-350 6-speed stick shift truck that I will likely have to learn how to drive. I have been looking at videos on youtube about this, but they aren't making much sense. Can someone help me out with some info? I can drive an automatic and I have seen people drive a stick shift but if I get behind the wheel, I won't have a clue.
