Light pinkish transmission oil?

I just checked my transmission fluid on my 2002 ford escort zx2 and it came out to look ligh pink, thin, and when I wipe it with a paper towel there is some black dirt that comes with it. I checked it multiple times and it came out to look light pink. What could this be?
