I have a 2014 Mustang GT with 4k miles. After the first oil change, I noticed a knock during warm startups. It goes away right away and I already had Ford check the oil filter and levels. One of their techs told me that the 5.4L do the same thing. They said with the variable cam timing it can cause the oil pressure to drop. This being said, getting a dry start occasionally. They said I have nothing to worry about and if it happens to get worse to bring it back in for tear down. I want to know if there are any other 5.0 owners out there that have the same thing happening. If so, what happened with yours? Any other advice is also welcome. Thanks!
