OK do I do not know what to make of this. I have a 98 Taurus which jerks and makes a rubber on rubber kind of sound when I am driving with the ac or heat on. I have looked all over the Internet but can't seem to find any answer. I have just driven with it off all summer because it doesn't do that when it's off. Could this be a head gasket? Compressor? Actuator? I just have no clue.
