Hi everyone
I am planning to buy a petrol vehicle for my family comprising of just 3 members all of who can drive. The reason of choosing a petrol car is because our monthly run goes to a maximum of 800-900 km a month except when I am in town once in a year. Although long drives are very less, i am actually looking for a car which can decently perform and handle in highways and at the same time can be easily used by my mom and wife in the city when I am not in town. Looks are also a factor for me as I dont want a car that looks cut straight at the back like the suzuki dzire.
The cars that I have shortlisted include the 1.2L Hyundai Xcent, 1.2L Hyundai Elite i20, the 1.2L Volkswagen Polo (I like the 1.6 TSI Polo but the DSG Automatic keeps pulling me back). I am also waiting on the upcoming Honda Jazz, and the updated Ford Figo and the Figo based compact sedan. Tata Zest also seems promising and so does the new Punto Evo. But the long term reliability has always been and is still under doubt.
Kindly help me out in taking a good decision in buying a car.
