The car only has 23k miles. Since ive had it ive noticed that when I accelerate from a complete stop sometimes I will hear a thump in the engine (maybe spark knock?) Im also hearing an annoying ticking noise when I accelerate rather hard. As well during take off it will rev to almost 3k rpm before actually accelerating. So it hesitates to go. The ticking noise I believe is from valves but not surs. I took the car to ford and all they saw was a leaking seal at the rear pinion. They did not hear the noise ticking so im guessing they didnt check the valves or pistons. The invoice stated they checked for spark knock. Also my steering wheel is off center. What do these issues sound like to you. Any similar experiences? The car is a 13 ford mustang v6 with the performance package.
