So first off I have owned both ford's and subies and they have both treated me very well so I'm not going to hear any of this one is more reliable crap. They haven't been out long enough to tell how reliable they are haha. Just getting that out of the way.
I test drove both and as far as performance the mustang has the edge. It met my expectations with horsepower and then surpassed them when it had way better handling Than I thought. (They have really made leaps and bounds in handling since my 04 GT)
the only complaint I had is that the stick was in an awkward place, for my arms at least. Nothing I couldn't get used too or I might even get an automatic since they are actually faster than the offered manual now.
The wrx sti handled great and it had tons of cool bells and whistles like the standard lcd display that showed boost among other things. I love that it has 4 doors, way more conveinient. Performance was good. I'm used to driving higher powered vehicles but it didn't really leave me wanting more.
the only complaint I have is the awful looking wing and gold wheels, why not throw in a fart can and some JDM stickers and leave one quarter panel in primer (ricer starter pack)?
If I were to get this car they would be removed immediately. I love Japanese imports but I hate people that rice them out. Sorry for ranting haha.
