I have a 2001 ford escape. Here in the last couple weeks something under the hood off center and to the right a little makes this god awful saw cutting through wood noise when I hit the gas.
I did notice last night that the sleep in going doesn't matter but the noise happens if my rpms get between 2 and 3. Anything above that half way mark and I'm sawing logs:/
I know zip about cars. And am having trouble finding a video of this noise. It's exactly like a saw cutting wood.
