I took my 2004 ford f150 extended cab mudding… Took it through some deep ruts and bottomed out twice… I got yanked out by a bigger truck and my truck started showing a "TRANS FAULT" message… There is mud caked on under my truck, it is driving okay but I did notice that it is taking a little bit longer to get going and when it starts going, it kicks hard like I juts pressed the gas really hard. Will I need a new transmission?
