Ford Focus 2001, tempeture gauge/fan problems. I need your help?!
Hello, so I have a 2001 Ford Focus that is in decent shape. Recently, my outlet heater hose busted. We got the new part on and put it on and the car is running. When driving over about 15 minutes, my tempeture gauge will start to go up on high, so I will blast my heat and it will go back down to normal in the middle or a little above the middle line. But on hot sunny days the tempeture gauge goes up even faster and even with the heat blasting, when I am at a stop light or stuck in trafic the gauge will go up. I was drivign to the ferries and my car was fine until I got into the ferry line and then that is when I noticed the temp. Guage was almost hitting the red! So I got out of line and started driving and it went back down to normal. Then I got back in line and it did the same thing until I started dricing back home. I am pretty sure that the fans are working, I can hear them. They are actually really really LOUD. Too loud it sounds like but they're still blowing air. Any suggestions? My car has the two fans. I am not sure if I need a new fan or if the radiator has to be flushed? Help!
