Need assistance on potential cost to alter a 2012 Ford Focus?

I recently purchased a 2012 Ford Focus, however the model is pretty basic and I'd like to look into upgrading the section between the seats. I'm used to having a car with a section between the seats where I can rest my arm, that includes a compartment to store a small number of items. Unfortunately, my basic model only has a small section with cup holders, and it is fairly low to the floor of the car. I spoke to one shop, and rather than build something into the existing frame, they recommended that I look into replacing that middle section with a different piece. Does anyone know a rough price that this type of alteration would cost me?
