Whats wrong with my 2004 ford ka? Even when my clutch is fully pressed it will cut out?!

When my clutch is fully pressed it will sometimes cut out. Sometimes the gear stick gets stuck in a gear meaning I have to stall my car to be able to reapply the clutch and change gear and sometimes the car wont go into a gear! Thank you in advance
