Why are people into hondas?

I own a 2008 Mustang GT with a tune, intake and exsaust and i seem to get alot of hate from Honda drivers, one person said to me on twitter, "wow who races a ford" and "acting like you have a race car" and "get a real car lol" and the person that said this drives a lowered 90's Honda Civic coupe slammed with cambered wheels and a fart can. And i have noticed those honda people are so cocky and believe they drive F1 race cars or somethings, why are people even into those cars with 1.7 L 4 cylinders and try racing everyone and everything with wheels?
