Airbags and car seat covers?

So long story short i have tan car seats and bought some covers to protect them. Today I spilled pop all over the seat cover so i pulled it off to wash at home and I read do not use if car is equipped with side airbags. Im not sure if my car has them or if i can continue using the cover.

Its a 2014 Ford Focus. My mom has the exact same ones on her 2012 Honda Civic. Which airbags do these cars have?
