Buying 1967 Ford mustang?

I have been wanting to buy this 67 mustang for a while now. It s a project but it shouldn t be much work. I wanted to know whether to buy it or not. I am turning 17 and have my lisense. The car has not ran in 2 years and did run then the body work is bad but I can fix it no problem. I live in Denver Colorado. Should I buy it. I have the money. But I m not sure if it would be a good car as a first.
