What small used (cheap) SUV is good in snow?

I know it's a little early to be thinking about winter but I cannot afford to be stuck this year. I have a 2014 Ford Focus and it's fine in normal southern Ohio snow. But last winter we often saw 8inches or more. I got stuck just in a parking spot twice and had to miss work which I was written up for. I'm just looking for something used and cheap. My friend has a old '99Jeep Wrangler that runs but need a lot of work to run properly (it was wrecked and also rained inside plus a beehive was on the car). Sounds like a lot of work but I'd get the car for free as it's just sitting in her backyard. What other cheap old suv is a good option?
