Gravity Falls, exposing illuminati or part of it?

In the cartoon Gravity Falls, theres obvious signs of thilluminati such as the character Bill Cipher, and this character is particularly creepy because he does everything the illuminati or the devil would do.

when he meets someone he pretends to be their friend, he deceives them like the devil does. He makes a deal with Ford n tells him if he gives him possession over his body then in return he'd give Ford the plans to a portal; in other words he does wut the devil does and the illuminati does to stars in Hollywood, in exchange for their souls they get fortune and fame. He trys to take over Gravity Falls and let loose hes demons in the nightmare realm; just like the devil is trying to take over the world and brainwash everyone with the illuminati.

My point is, theres obviously a lot of similarities to the illuminati, im pretty sure Bill Cipher is spos to be the devil aka the leader of the illuminati and Gideon is a part of the illuminati and he takes orders from Bill. So the creator of the show was either trying to expose the illuminati or trying to brainwash kids like everyone/everything else in the illuminati is doing. Which is it?
