Will my vehicle pass emissions with a bad EGR valve? - 1
Added (1). I just purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition and I noticed the service engine light on and went to have it checked out with a local mechanic. He told me the EGR is bad and it would cost $275 + labor to replace. He says that it has to do with emissions from the engine recirculating back into the injectors to recycle unused fuel. Will this affect the emissions testing?
