$500 truck with 250,000 miles… Is it worth it?

I was looking at used pick-up trucks online and I found a $500 Ford F250 XL with about 243,000 miles. I love the price of it, but with that amount of miles, is it even worth the buy? There have been no accidents, or recalls or anything. There seems to be a bit of rust, but I don t care much about that. Any suggestions? I d hate to see it stop working after only a few weeks of usage.
