ATTN: Mechanics or car savvy people. My 1998 ford escort is stalling and I'm not sure why?
Added (1). When I stay in park for a couple minutes and then return the gear to drive, my car stalls. When I backed into my driveway with the reverse gear it also stalled. Sometimes even when I'm just in drive slowing for a stop it acts as if it wants to stall. Whenever it does stall, the battery light and check engine light both come on, but disappear after I start the vehicle up again. Any ideas of what may be going wrong?
