Which car purchase is the smarter choice moving forward? Prius, Fusion, Malibu?

3 options:
2004 Chevy Malibu, 130k miles for $2400
2007 Ford Fusion, 115k miles for $3900
2009 Toyota Prius, 68k miles for $6800

All three cars are in good condition. Clearly the Prius is the better car, then fusion, then malibu, but I'm looking for the best choice for the money.
My budget is small, dont want to spend more than $5000 (but if its worth it then ill spend more).
Which car should I get and why? I can always turn around and sell the prius for $4000 in three years. But money is a concern right now.
