Will I get discriminated? I'm considering buying a membership for the symphony?

We know what this is.
There are all these organizations and members get discount to their shows.
There are also member-only events, such as pre-show receptions, galas, etc…

Where I live there is a market for this and every season there are many events.

I know these private events have a lot of affluent people. I've been to these events before. I spoken to many of them.
Where I live is where they buy winter homes.

I love classical music, not just Beethoven and Mozart, but also Liszt, Bach, Vivaldi, Shostakovich, etc…
I play the piano, I have composed two concertos on Musescore and so on.

I feel, however, that I will be discriminated because I am not as wealthy as them. I am 21 years old and I go to college.
Most of these people are old. But I don't care, I love classical music.

What should I do? Will I get discriminated for being who I am? These memberships are all less than $200, by the way, it's not that expensive. (I drive a crappy two door Ford Focus, by the way)

I would also like this because it can give me a chance to spend time with people that I can actually talk to. I hate my college and this ridiculous young people culture of eating awful food, binge drinking and partying, I find very pathetic.

I have some friends but I have trouble communicating with them shortly after I completed high school.

What should I do? Should I buy these memberships and start going to these elegant events? I appreciate the art, but I don't want to be discriminated.
Added (1). My theatre professor once told me "People with money don't befriend people who don't have money"
This is why I feel that I would be discriminated, there is a lot of truth in it, if you think about it
