Colt, Smith and Wesson, or Remington?

Which gun maker is better? Like is it just like chevy vs ford and all about preference or is there one brand that is actually better than the others when it comes to any shotgun, rifle, and pistol. I m just curious to know the different pros and cons these makers have or if they are all pretty much the same as long as you take care of them
