Issues with 2001 Ford F-150 fuel system?

About a year ago my truck died and the diagnosis was the fuel pump. So I got that changed. About 6 months ago the problem started again what it does WHILE driving it will buck and jerk, lose power and when putting presser on the gas peddle it will die. I would let it sit a minute and it would start but soon after it would do it again. Took it to a mechanic truck wouldn t throw a code (because the issue is intermittent). So I had spark plugs replace. It still did it. So I cleaned out the air intake, but a new relay switch. Still happened. Took it back to mechanic they dropped the tank, tank was clear of debris and fuel pump sock was clean. The fuel filter was dirty though and so they cleaned the filter. Ran fine for about six months now it s doing it again, took it to the shop and had them put on a new filter this time and it s still doing it. Here are the symptoms:
-Doesn t turn over about once every 30 times (I was thinking it was the starter going out) if I slam the passenger door it will start, like it was the starter.
-Runs fine for awhile then will buck and kick then finally die. Let sit and will restart and go for awhile and then will do it again. It doesn t do it every time I drive it but it s getting frustrating. No one can diagnosis it because it doesn t happen all the time and I m sick of just throwing money at it and it not fixing the problem. Anyone have any ideas what the real problem is? Would be grateful to anyone that can help me out!
