Best truck for off road and long distance?

im interested in buying a truck and I'm looking for recommendations. I will be traveling long distance (road trips) and I will be spending a lot of time driving up mountains and off road terrain. A few of the trucks I am interested in are the Ford F-150, the Chevy Colorado and I also looked at the jeep Cherokee but it wasn't spacious enough. Any other recommendations?
