Math experts Please explain to me why this incorrect?!
Five acceleration test were conducted at a distance of 358 feet. The resulting average of those test showed an average of 7.87 seconds to accelerate to 50 mph. Based on those test I was able to calculate an acceleration factor of.359 and an acceleration rate of 11.55fps/s. Based on calculations it was determined that the ford expedition could obtain a speed of 99 mph in approximately 910 feet.
How the heck did he come up with those acceleration numbers? You're telling me a ford expedition can reach speeds of 99 mph in 910 feet based off your calculations? IMPOSSIBLE! A sports car cannot even reach speeds of 99 in a quarter mile(1,320 feet). A 2014 mustang v6 runs a 14.4 sec @98mph. A ford expedition can NOT smoke a mustang, no. I need a scientific theory or explanation on WHY THAT TOP STATEMENT IS CRAP and your predicted distance/time for a ford expedition to reach 99mph. 4800 lbs.
THERES A REASON I DIDNT INCLUDE A YEAR, MODEL, MOTOR… If I wanted a google answer, I wouldn't have typed this lol. I need science/math/physics! THANK YOU
