Radio/CD,,the radio works,but not the CD?

I have a Ford Escape( 2005 ) factory radio/CD,6 disc, the radio works but not the CD,push the CD button,word "wait" ap-pears,beeps, but thats all it does,won't eject the loaded CD's either,bought another used factory radio just like the one I had,it's does the same thing!
