Why don't some heavy duty trucks have the big tow mirrors?

just out or curiosity I've seen some ford super duties and even 1 ton duallys have the regular mirrors not the tow style mirrors. Why is that? If those trucks are meant for towing and hauling things why don't some have tow mirrors?
Added (1). the reason why I'm asking bc my Aunt has a friend that has a 2002 Ford F-250 lariat and I might get it once he sells it and I'm afraid it's gonna have the regular mirrors and I don't want to spend over $100 just to get a pair of tow mirrors
