After Nixon got the North Vietnamese to agree with the South Vietnamese on the Paris Accord Agreements. The democrats in Congress got angry and cutter off all supply and aid to South Vietnam, while the USSR supplied and armed North Vietnam. Then North Vietnam violated the ceasefire agreement again and the democrats in Congress made it impossible for Ford to aid South Vietnam.
