Will IRS check returns of company if I file 1040 deduction for involuntary conversion by theft by same company?

This year alone, I will file $19,000 deduction for current-year portion of theft by Roseville Future Ford as involuntary conversion deduction. On assumption said Ford dealership will not declare the stolen amount is income, will my filing lead to IRS evasion charge against, or claim for payment and penalties, or both from the delinquent business?
