Have i been exposed to dangerous levels of asbestos?

Me and my brother were working on some drum brakes about a year ago, we didn't have a puller so we used the other option, beat on the whole exterior drum until it comes lose. It was a 93 ford ranger, and thus most likely had asbestos in the brake shoes. I spent a total of around 2 hours out there either beating on it or sitting next to me brother who was beating on it. The garage we were in has no proper ventilation, but its not insulated well and thus air is allowed to escape. The shoes, if i remember right, were not crumbling. I was 13 at the time, and children are more effected by it the younger they are. Now i'm paranoid of everything that could contain asbestos, but mostly paranoid of that possible encounter. We took basically no precautions because everyone makes it seem like asbestos was phased out entirely in the 80s, what we know now not to be true. Do you think the asbestos would have been disturbed? Do you think there's a high chance of me or him developing asbestos related cancers or other problems later in life? The problem is i don't know what's true and what's not. Is just one exposure that horrible, or not? Please help me out here, thanks.
