This happened in Vietnam after the Paris Peace Accords we left and all the liberal politicians in Congress voted to cut aid to South Vietnam while the USSR was re supplying the North. After Nixon was driven from office North Vietnam violated the peace agreement and attacked the South and the democrats took over Congress and blocked Ford from sending any possible aid to the South. That's how Vietnam is communist today. If we pull out of South Korea and considering if the democrats win the House and Senate this November they could very likely do the same with Trump.
