What do you think happened to my car?

So i was driving my dad pickup tonight and when going on the highway i floored it all the way. When i reached about 110 i let go of the pedal and the check engine light started flashing and the car started shaking/vibrating a little bit. Then it stopped shaking and the light stopped flashing. Wtf happened? I told my dad already and you can guess he is angry and he might take it to the mechanic to check but i want to know what happened. My dads pickup is only a year old and its a ford f 150 if that helps
