Problems with a 1994 Ford Bronco with a 5.8 EFI?!

Ok, so my Bronco is having some issues running right. It idles well for a few seconds and then it drops RPM to about 6-700. When you hit the gas it damn near shuts off. We replaced the heads because one was cracked but it didn t help. The overdrive stick is also flashing if that s any help. It drives but it just takes forever to get up. It doesn t stall out or anything either and it s got me beat. Please help!
