Leasing vs financing a car?

I honestly don't know the different between leasing and financing a car and google confuses me.

I'm also asking which will be better for a used car.

I say used because it's usually cheaper to pay insurance for, MN is kinda expensive, and because I don't even care about these new models. Too many bells and whistles and buttons and upgrades. Just annoying to deal with. I'm almost 20 and think this also. Looking at some used cars at a dealership, I will be happy to drive off with this places 2011 Toyota Corolla, 2011 Pontiac, or 2007 Ford Fusion (for example).

So either way, with a used car (between 2006 and 2014), which would be better and what is the difference?

Also which would be smarter if I'm getting the car in one state but moving to another one?
Added (1). Okay since people obviously can't understand the first sentence let me break it down:

I searched it and got confused by the definitions. It also doesn't help that literally EVERY search has to do with newest models, or a new car, or bad/no credit. I'm just looking for the bluntest statement and keep getting situational definitions.
