i drive an automatic 2010 ford focus sedan, a few nights ago, i hit a massive pavement swell, and it scraped the bottom of my car right underneath the drivers side. It seemed like everything was fine but the first time i tried putting it in reverse and applying gas it started making a low rumbling/grinding sound, and it only starts after a fair amount of torque. My friend checked it out for me he said, the transmission fluid is fine, the steering in both reverse and drive works fine, the gears shift smoothly, they don't slip there's nothing wrong with the axle, the clutch doesn't drag, it seems like nothing is wrong at all until you put some torque on the reverse gear and it starts making the sound, its not at all normal. It hasn't been getting any worse either. Please help, i'm so confused.
