The dealership is telling me that my vehicle (2012 ford focus) is experiencing an issue where my Audio Control module is not powering down with the vehicle and is draining the battery over night. They say there is absolutely no way to resolve this without replacing the part as the vehicle will not run/start without it. Is this true? If so what should I be looking at to replace this, they gave me $790 for repair/replacement cost.
What do you guys think?
Added (1). The vehicle is still under power train warranty, bumper to bumper factory warranty expired less than 3 months ago.
