I have an 07 Ford Expedition that jerks when you push the accelerator about half way down. You can push the accelerator down further and it usually stops. At first, I thought it felt like the transmission was having trouble getting into the right gear. So I had that checked out and was told that the tranny was fine. Next I tried replacing the fuel filter, but it still jerks. I had a mechanic run the codes and found nothing. Any ideas what it might be? It doesn't seem to matter what speed the car is at. It's more tied to the position of the accelerator pedal.
