2014 Mustang won't turn on after storm came through?

My car has been in my driveway for maybe a week (I've been driving my truck instead). The last time I drove it, obviously everything was fine, none of the lights were flashing to indicate any problems. For the past 5 days or so, the weather has been so hellish. It has been storming pretty badly, and there has been a lot of thunder and lightning, so I'm thinking it might've struck my car and caused something to shut off, but I'm not sure. We're calling Ford out here ASAP, but I wanted to see if I could fix it myself first. Has anyone else had these issues? Could it be the battery?
