Loud clicking noise when i try and start my car?

1990 Ford Bronco 2 manuel. I've been working on my bronco for awhile now ( it's got fuel issues either no pulse or fuel injectors are messed up) anyways. It tries to start fine just wont turn over. I got a noid light kit yesterday to check for pulse. I got my wife to turn the key like trying to start it, sounded like the battery was dying because it only tried to crank for a few seconds then nothing. I tried to jump it from my other car but it just started making a really loud tapping or clicking noise from around the area of the battery and fuse box. I disconnected the battery and just hooked my jumper cables straight from my good car to the bronco, same thing. All the lights and radio come on with no problem but whenever I turn the key it just makes a really loud tapping/ clicking noise non stop. I'm assuming if it was arching it would pop a fuse and not click more than a few times. I tried tapping my started but that didn't do anything. Any suggestions? It's been working totally fine before this.
