How many different types of turbo chargers are there for a ford focus mkII 1.8tdci?

I got a turbo charger from a supplier who assured me that there is only one specific type for my model. However, my garage advise that it does not fit and are charging me the labour for the false fit. I need to know who is lying as surely that person would be liable to cover the labour.
