Ok so i have a ford f150 5.4 2005 and engine went out. Cost to repair idea? Photos are included?

so i was told by a mechanic that my 2nd pistion broke and i needed a whole engine swap. I pulled the engine out and found just what you see broken. No other metals were found down in the oil pan. I think there is maybe a piece of rod in the piston area. Any idea what it may cost to repair? If it helps i live in central california
