We have a 2009 Ford Escape XLT. All of a sudden today, the radio will not turn on. It was working perfectly fine last night when we were listening to the satellite radio while driving home, but today the radio suddenly won't turn on at all. The display still shows the outside temperature, but it no longer displays the time and, like I said, the radio won't turn on at all, except it did come on for a very split second while we were driving, but then it went right back out again. Any ideas? Is this some sort of an electrical issue? We've had this Escape for about 2 years and it's never done this before. The only thing I can think of is that I was cleaning/vacuuming it out yesterday afternoon and shampooing the carpets since they were dirty from a long winter, so I had the doors open for quite a while, but I've done this before and it's never caused a problem and the radio worked fine last night. Please help!
