Rock chip on loaner car's windshield?

A dealership loaned me a Ford for five days for free and said my insurance would cover it while they repair my car.

On day 2, there's a cloudy chip smaller than a quarter in the windshield with something black in the center. Two tiny lines come out of that chip going in separate directions.

The entire damage is the size of a quarter at most.

I am baffled… I never heard a pop sound, so it could have happened while i was parked at work. I also can't remember if its been there the entire time and I may just now being seeing it. Never saw a chip filled with resin so I don't know if this is a filled chip. Would it look like that if it were filled?

They wouldn t loan out a car with a chip in the glass right?

I have a $500 deductible with insurance. How do i approach this conversation with the dealership. Not sure if this happened in my possession or if its been there. I would love if its just a chip fill to not get my insurance involved:(
