Can my pickup tow my 1986 ford e350 jamboree 26ft. Rv camper if it breaks down on the road?

i have a 1986 ford econoline 350 jamboree motorhome. It is 26 ft. Long and the weight on the title is 11,000lbs. I was wondering if my pickup which is a 1979 gmc sierra classic with full time 4x4 and a 400v8 with auto trans could pull in to town to a mechanic if the camper left me sit on the road. I thought it would save money over calling a tow truck
