Which vehicle should I buy? Second car and its going to be a big investment?

I'm 16 and own a 99 Grand AM that is starting to fall apart, so i need a new vehicle.
At a local GM dealership they have two vehicles I'm interested in.
One is a 2008 Ford F150 STX V8 4.7L RWD with 127 458 KM on it. In good shape, but a mechanic family member warned me that used Ford trucks will be a POS and the rear ends go out. Its $9998
The other is a 2010 Dodge Charger SXT with a 3.5L V6, which is only a.1L bigger than my current engine. Its a RWD also and has 133, 585. This one is $11,000.
Both come with a 30 day exchange warranty, 3 months warranty bumper-bumper and a 24/7 road side assistance. Both are certified.
Will be drove in the snow (sask winter).
