How to find the right coil spring for my car?

I need to replace the front coil spring on my 2000 ford taurus. I been told to find the spring code to find the right spring, they told me it should be on the sticker on the door. I found a code but it doesn't match any of the 4 code they gave me! They said there are only for codes for my car. The code on my car is EECC but they gave for code as follow: A. B. C. D. Which on is for my car? Am I looking at the wrong codes? Please help. By the way, am replacing it by myself and am going to buy a used one. Thanks for any help.
