04 Ford ranger abs light on?

I have a 04 Ford ranger 4.0 4x4 my abs light keepes coming on and off I know its my left front wheel speed censor I have tried cleaning it but still comes on and off I have checked all connections and they are good I need to get it inspected and don t have the money for a new censor which is 97 bucks if I pull the fuse for the abs light will it go out so I can get it inspected until I can get the new censor
